I'm Anna, the photographer behind Digital Charms. I'm based in Columbus, Ohio, and I specialize in moody, literary, enchanted portrait work. My sessions are for the bookish, the romantics, the creatives, the beautifully weird. The ones who feel more at home in candlelight than in a studio. The ones who have been waiting for a photographer who actually gets it.
I didn't start this business to take pretty pictures. I started it because I believe there is something extraordinary in every person who sits in front of my camera and I want them to see it.
My style is dark, intentional, and deeply personal. Just you, the right light, and something that feels like it came out of a novel you love.
When I'm not shooting, I'm reading, burning candles down to nothing, and believing wholeheartedly in the power of a good story.

What a Digital Charms session feels like
Unhurried. That's the word I come back to most.
I don't rush sessions. I don't bark directions or count down from three. I give you time to settle into the space, into yourself, into the light. Most people have never had photos taken that felt like theirs ... I want yours to feel completely, unmistakably like you.
My sessions are for people who want something that looks different from everything else in their feed. Dark backgrounds. Intentional light. Locations that feel like they belong in a story. I work outdoors in Columbus and surrounding areas — gardens, old architecture, forests, anywhere with atmosphere and depth.
Every session includes a full styling consultation beforehand so you show up knowing exactly what to wear and what to expect. No guesswork. No awkward posing. Just us, the light, and something that feels like magic.
